In this stamping process, the stamping die and counter die are flat, and stamping is completed in an up and down motion.

The flat stamping die is mounted to the machine base (FLAT). The counter pressure is generated by a cylinder (ROUND). The cylinder transports the sheet of paper, and unrolls it over the flat stamping die.
